SOLOMON's popular band Door Man’s Project (DMP) left the country yesterday for Noumea, New Caledonia.

The group will be performing two live shows at Yengen and Noumea and will be in New Caledonia for two weeks.

The tour was sponsored by Mangroves Studios manager Alain Lecante.

Speaking prior to their departure, team leader Ronnie Paeva said the group will be performing live backed up by the Apprentice Band.

“It is going to be an exciting show,” Paeva said.

DMP, which was awarded the best Pacific Album of the year by New Caledonia and awarded the song of the year, group of the year and People’s choice in the Solo Music Award last year, will no doubt will give their fans in New Caledonia the best show.

Lead vocalist Kairi said their tour will be different and more exciting from the first tour they made last year.

“We are going to rock the stage with our unique songs with a live band,” he said.

A total of 10 band members are on the tour.
