The country’s three time award winning musician Samson Allan Saeni known as “Sharzy” last weekend rocked Gizo with his unique Island styles of music.

He put on a night of musical entertainment for residents in the Western provincial capital.

Sharzy traveled to Gizo on Friday and put on his public show at the Gizo Hotel on Saturday night.

Sharzy’s trip was also to support Nimox production worked on its volume seven (7) DVD production featuring local musical talents in Gizo.

The singer also filmed some of the songs which will be featured in his next DVD album.

The dance floor was packed during the show.

He was one of the musicians who had continued to lift the country’s name in the region when it comes to music.

Speaking to Solomon Star yesterday from Gizo Mr Seani said that he was invited by Nimox production to perform in Gizo.

“I’m indeed delighted to be given this opportunity to perform, in Gizo with my natural island flavors and island style of music.

“It’s been good and an excited time for me to be able to support our local artists,’’ he said.

The local musician Sharzy said he was pleased to support local musicians through his talent.

Not only that but to encourage local musicians to follow his footsteps in making his (Sharzy) way up the ladder and being one of the recognized musicians in the region.

He urged local musicians to have a passion for music.

Amos ngodoro, managing director of Nimox production thanked Sharzy for accepting their invitation to visit Gizo and perform to the local residents giving them a different flavor of music over the weekend.

“We hope in the future we might organize a bigger and better one than this.

“However we are looking forward for assistance and encouragement form Sharzy in the future,’’ he said.
