THE intensity of the Solo Icon competition rages as all contestants’ battle out staking their case as competitive artist and stars worthy of the Solo con 2010 crown.
Interview with judges revealed that it is difficult to judge the best from the exceptional because every one is putting their best.

Children Category: Agella Ra’a, Moses Davis, Luke Allan, Ivon Siobata, Jayden Kerlerfiti, Mandy Maggie, Kenny James.
Adult Category: Daniel Joel, Kelvin Kahui, Spain Onario, Josh B’shaller, Willie Salu, Diana Sina, Shelton Pio, Rexford Haro, Harrison Gao, Prince Anthony, Robert Nee.
Appearing for Solo Icon feature this week is Mandy Maggie who is 14 years old.
She is optimistic about her confidence and how she anticipates showcasing her talents in this year’s competition in the Young Executive Category.
Maggie is from Malaita, West Kwaraae, she is a student at St John community High School.
Her desire to compete in the Solo Icon came about after she watches Solo Icon of the previous years.
Her favorite musical taste is R&B.
As a girl, she acknowledges that it took great courage and self esteem to reassure herself, to be in the competition amongst many young people like her who are very talented.
She thanked Solo Icon organisers for making it possible a platform where young people can stake their potentials as individuals with unique talents.
