One Drop band jets off to Vanuatu

THE country’s favourite oldies band ‘One Drop’ band yesterday flew out of the country to Vanuatu.

The band have been invited by the Vanuatu Independence Committee to tour Santo as part of Vanuatu’s 30th anniversary which falls on Friday this week.

Band leader Raymond Kafo speaking to Solomon Star before their departure said that the arrangement was for the band to tour different location’s in Santo ahead of the main event on Friday.

One Drop will be touring different locations in Santo under very tight schedule.

The band have been arranged to play at least 2-3 hours in all the arranged locations.

One Drop band which is made up of oldies around the town is a popular band in the country known for their classic style of music and vocals.

The band is made up of some of the best musicians in the country.

Mr Kafo would like to thank the following people who have made their travel possible.

And also to the South Pacific Oil Limited (SPOL) for sponsoring the band’s t-shirts.

Mr Kafo would also like to thank the band members families for their understanding and continuous support shown to them.

One Drop will return to the country next week Tuesday just in time for the national elections which falls the day after.
