participants have completed the third training of the "Victorious Ministry Through
Christ" in Honiara yesterday.
The VMTC Prayer Ministry is a disciplined way of praying which results in healing and forgiveness. It is not psychological counseling.
The training started last year followed by a second session in June this year.
It was to help Christians to fully equipped with the idea of the pray ministry in order to do it in the country.
In order for them to do that, they will go through another training next year.
Australian couple, Frank and Gayle Grimsey and Kishore Nand of Fiji have conducted the training for the participants since last Tuesday.
In June this year, they came with a full team, where some of them went to Gizo in Western province to conduct similar training during the Awakening the Province held in the township.
The rest went to Malaita and do similar programme there.
Mr Grimsey said this was a ministry of encouragement where you have to be honest and open to the Lord to deal with your issues.
He said confidentiality was the important thing in the ministry where you are not allowed to tell anyone about stories you get from someone during the pray ministry.
One of the participants, Pastor Alick Jeremiah of Assemblies of God, said the ministry had really helped him in uprooting things in his life that need healing.
He said it also gave him strength and new direction in his endeavour to plant a church at Ruaniu on Guadalcanal.
