ISABEL renowned musicians Rolley Bogese known as Saba and his son David Bogese known as Young Davi will be performing live on the 31st of this month at Nagholau village, Bughoto Districk in Isabel Province.

The New Year’s Eve show is to bring the community together to raise money to upgrade Nagholau chapel.

Speaking to Solomon Star yesterday Mr Bogese said he and his son will be help raising money with their singing talents.

Mr Saba said before going to Nagholau on that day, he will be going to do a live performing at Huali village (Gao Districk ) on the 30th of this month before going over to Nagholau for the goodwill performance.

“I and my son will team up together and put on many of our popular songs from our past albums.

“This is basically to engage communities in Huali and nearby communities to come and support the drive to raise money.

“The fundraising drive will also coincide with welcoming the New Year.

“Communities in Huali usually call that particular night “Saba Night Count down Twelve” because I always put on shows during this period.

Young Davi expressed joy that he will be accompanying his father to help in the fundraising.

He said he has a unique talent and he would want to acknowledge that by assisting religious activities.

“The talent that I have is not given to me by my father or mother but by God –therefore when he asks me of something I will do what he wants me to do,” he said.

Mr Davi said he will lease out songs from his past albums and some from his soon to released album.

“I urge other local Musician in Solomon island to support Churches with their naturally God given talent through singing.”
