THE Simi Memorial Church Fakaloloma was dedicated with a brand new PA sound system donated by the Manakafo Tribe, one of the seven tribes of Funa’afou Island.
Chief Robert Satu said that it is part of his tribe’s contribution towards the historic event, which was marked with a variety of both spiritual and social activities.
“We are indeed glad to have supported the Church throughout its fundraising programmes and now with the size of this church and the population we have, we felt that it is only fitting that a good PA sound system is provided,” chief Satu said.
He said he hopes the church will see the equipment as an asset and use it in the right and proper manner.
Church Elder Satu Pita thanked the Manakafo Tribe for its generous contribution and assured them the Church will look after the equipment and use them for its intended purpose.
