SEVENTH Day Adventist youths were told to put into practice what they’ve learned during their week-long congress that ended Saturday.
World Youth Director of Seventh Day Adventist, Dr Baraka Muganda, said this at the closing of the congress on Saturday night at the Maranatha Hall, east Honiara.
Dr Muganda said the lessons youths learn during the week are crucial and should be shared with others.
“The congress theme ‘Love Care Serve’ summarises the important role of youths,” Dr Muganda said.
“I would recommend that you put into practice what you’ve learned during the week.”
The world youth leader reminded the youths to share what they’ve learned to their peers and communities on their return.
Youth Director of the Trans Pacific Union Mission (TPUM) Pastor Maveni Kaufononga says the support rendered by the church was great.
“Youths learned a lot which is encouraging,” he said.
Pastor Kaufononga encourages youths to implement what they’ve been taught during the congress.
About 500 hundred youths participated in the congress. They came from the SDA churches throughout the country.
Dr Muganda left for the United States yesterday.
