THE new Jehovah’s Witness branch office at Panatina, east Honiara, was finally dedicated on Saturday.
The new office was constructed since 2005.
A total of 30 international servants, 113 international volunteers, and many part-time workers laboured unitedly on the project.
Witness religion further expanded its preaching work because of interest in the Kingdom message in the Solomon Islands.
Its first branch office was established in 1978, located in the basement of a brother’s house at Lengakiki Ridge.
But the increase in number of Witness members required the expansion of the branch office.
Thus, Jehovah enlarged its branch facilities in 1994 and the new Honiara Assembly Hall was dedicated.
However, the branch office had become too small, so plans to construct a new branch building was initiated.
Last month Witnesses welcomes the public to their new branch office to learn about what Jehovah’s Witness.
Also in June last year Witness held their first class of the ministerial training school in their facilities.
Witness says they are delighted to see Jehovah’s rich blessing on the work to dedicate the new branch office.
The dedication coincided with the visit of guest speaker Stephen Lett that delivered a special message at Witness special gathering on Sunday at Lawson Tama.
