DORCAS ladies from around the country have begun converging into Honiara ahead of the annual Dorcas Federation congress next week.

The federation week will kick off on Monday November 1 for a week at the Marantha Hall, Burns Creek east of Honiara.

The federation will involve a camp near the Marantha Hall centre.

Since last week Adventist dorcas ladies from around the country have started arriving in boats with the food rations and luggage.

And already the camp site is building up in numbers.

This week more women are expected to arrive from the Western province, Central, Isabel, Malaita and Makira.

Reports reaching Solomon Star said most of the dorcas ladies are elderly ones and for some if not most, this is their first time to reach Honiara.
