The communities are Naro, Lambukulila and Tambea situated west of Visale parish.

The visit was part of pastoral work in the Church to visit people and share with them about God’s word.

Northwest Guadalcanal Solomon Star Stringer John Toki said, this visit was purposely to talk with people about Church work and encourage them to respect the Lent season.

Mr Toki said, Fr Galvin appealed to parishioners to remember the salvation of Jesus.

“Every one must obtain parish regulation until we reach Easter season,” he added.

Mr Toki said, communities are encouraged to cooperate and work together with the priest in preparations towards the biggest celebration to be held at Visale parish during Good Friday on Easter day.

He said people turned up in numbers to witness the priest’s visit.
