Their local distributor in the country, George Wu Company delivered the goods to World Vision and the National disaster management office (NDMO).
Goods included 350 bags of 20kg rice, 350 cartoons of waioka tuna taiyo including medicated soap and mosquito repellent lotions.
George Wu, Sales and Marketing Manager Brian Sonason said George Wu is grateful in working closely with its overseas supplier to provide relief supplies to the flood victims.
“We are pleased to offer on behalf of our overseas supplier in help to assist the flood victims.”
He said the relief assistance is an indication of Panamex Group’s generous help towards its local distributor, the country and its people.
Sonason added whilst the supplier shows generosity, it’s good to know a big company operating in the region is supporting people in the region, in particular Solomon Islands in such time of disaster.
Panamex is an exporter of consumer goods throughout New Zealand, the Pacific Islands including Solomon Islands, Indian Oceans and the Caribbean.
