“If farmers in Malaita can practice this way of farming the sweet potato, it should be better because it will produce more potato fruits,” Mr Hsu said.

Following the harvesting, Potatoes sample at Adaliua TTM demonstration farm were supplied to Aligegeo Province secondary school kitchen.

This is purposely for the student’s meal.

Meanwhile, Mr Hsu encourages students and teachers of Aligegeo to visit his farm and learn ideas to improve local ways of traditional waysof farming in Malaita.
