PM congratulates Isabel province

PRIME Minister Manasseh Sogavare MP has conveyed his greetings on the occasion of the 36th Second Appointed Day of Isabel Province.

Stating on behalf of the Democratic Coalition Government for Advancement (DCGA) and the people of Solomon Islands, the Prime Minister said,

“I would like to extend my warmest greetings to the Premier, the Provincial Executive, Provincial Assembly, Tribal and Community Leaders, Religious Leaders and the people of Isabel Province on the occasion of your 36th Second Appointed Day.

“As we remember and celebrate this significant occasion, let us allow this day to remind us of the contributions, achievements and challenges that we have encountered as a province in the last 36 years in our efforts to make Isabel a better home for all her people,” said Hon. Sogavare.

According to the Prime Minister, Isabel Province must be commended for her great contribution towards nation-building in terms of her fine natural and human resources.

“Isabel Province have contributed to promote the socio-economic profile of our beloved country,” he said.

“The  Government will continue to support you as we all strive to advance our country into a prosperous and better place for us, our children and our children’s children,” assured the Prime Minister.

Hon. Sogavare further reiterated that celebrating 36 years as a province symbolizes growth, maturity and passion to move forward stressed the need endeavor with determination to tackle the challenges ahead.
