Call to fix Tomba bridge 

Communities in North West Guadalcanal have called on their Member of Parliament (MP) and responsible ministry to fix the Tomba bridge that has been damaged by heavy rain.

More heads back to the West

PACKED boatloads of people are returning to the Western Province following orders by the Governor-General and the Prime Minister. Following the declaration of a state of emergency and closure of schools and businesses, more people are heading back to their home islands in the province.

Two more results for COVID-19  suspected cases in the Solomon Islands have come back negative. The test results were confirmed by the Ministry of Health after being sent for testing in Australia.
