This has been confirmed by the SIRUF Development Officer Mr. Fredson Soaki.
Mr. Soaki said that the priority now is to the clubs to get themselves organized and start training sessions in the evenings.
He calls on the following clubs to start getting prepared; Oscars, Royals, Henderson Hammerheads, Tandai, Diesel Power and any new interested clubs.
The competition for this year is planned for a 10 a side setup and a one off 15 a side match to be a curtain raiser to the Men’s 15 a side Inter Islands championship in September.

On the same note, a very important meeting is been setup for all women club officials. This meeting is to discuss the matters regarding this year’s competition and the coming years. The meeting is scheduled for Monday 4th August (today) from 5pm to 6pm at the SIRUF office, HM Long building, China Town next to Athletics Solomon and Le Pharmacy offices. It is very important that the women rugby clubs reps attend this meeting.
