It was an equally fought match with both sides having equal chances of winning as they test their strengths in preparations for the coming TSL season.

United managed to ease their way past new comers with goals from Abraham Iniga and Boni Nawo.

Despite the defeat Guadalcanal FC came close with one goal and it comes as a boost to their preparation for the coming season.

United is reported to be preparing well for the coming season.

They are currently recruiting more players to boost its already star studded side.

Some of its proposed signings are Judd Molea of Solomon Warriors FC and Solomon Islands international, Junior Henry Fa’arodo Junior who is yet to give the green light to sign with the club.

As defending champions, United are aiming to defend the title for the second time.

However this time round is expected to be tough as it will comprise of 10 clubs, two extra than the initial number of teams in the competition.
