Country manager Mark Corcoran said this year’s ‘Go Green’ event was scheduled to be launched through all BSP’s retail branches for selected schools on Friday and on Saturday for Communities.
He said BSP recognised that many environmental threats and challenges cannot be solved in just a day.
“Long term commitment and positive action is
necessary from all stakeholders to combat
these problems and address the many negative impacts we have on our
environment.
“Participating in events such as ‘Go Green’ is about being aware and accountable in your own way, at work or at home.”
Mr Corcoran said 'Go Green' was about keeping the
world we live in clean and healthy for not only this generation but for more
importantly for future generations.
“BSP encourages you all to “be part of it” and reinforces the Go Green message of keeping your office, home, street, beach, village, backyard and community clean and green.”
