A team of five mentors from Business Mentors New Zealand had arrived for one-on-one mentoring sessions which will end on 28th February.
Twelve local businesses had been selected by BMNZ to participate in the mentoring programme, which has proven very successful since its launch in August 2011.
To date the programme had attracted 76 local businesses for one on one mentoring and week-long group training every six months.
The Programme was aimed to assist small and medium enterprises in the Solomon Islands to manage and grow their businesses in a way that supports sustained increases in production and employment.
By offering FREE expert business advice, the programme can assist businesses in a range of areas including; sales and marketing, general management, finance and accounting, administration, manufacturing, production and distribution, human resources, legal, international trade and export and technology.
The Chamber is encouraging local businesses to gain expert knowledge from experienced business owners from New Zealand who have had enormous experience in running small and medium business enterprises and are willing to share their knowledge free of charge.
