“We continue to provide sailing (both Junior and Senior), fishing competitions, family oriented fun days with regular dance nights and Sunday live entertainment members,” Mr Hammond said.
Yacht Club was last year put into receivership.
He said as a celebratory gesture, previous Members of Point Cruz Yacht Club are welcome to rejoin the club with no nomination fees payable.
“In fact should you elect to join the Club, before Christmas for the remainder of the Club year (July 2010), you can rejoin by simply paying six months subscription.”
Mr Hammond said a four month short term temporary Membership can be offered to interested people in the capital.
He said the Club Bar and Restaurant is operated by way of lease from PCYC.
"Both entities are working closely together to provide a better standard of service and improve the venue as a modern Pacific style bar in the best location in town offering good value for money service, meals and beverages for its members and guests."
Managing Director of the club's bar and restaurant David Holder said they have introduced serving breakfast every Saturdays and Sundays.
Mr Holder said the Club has started “Happy Hours” on different days of the week with reduced prices on beer and selected alcoholic beverages and reintroduce live bands every second week-end with dancing.
He said the Club will be supporting PCYC in all its outdoor activities and events that require their assistance inorder to provide a standard service to the people.
PCYC welcomes interested people to join and enjoy the improved services and events.
