PARENTS of students attending Panatina Community High School are demanding the Honiara City Council Education Authority to immediately terminate the school’s head tutor.
This call came following the school’s poor form six results.
According to the parents, from the 300 form six students enrolled at the school last year only one made it into form seven arts at Honiara High School.
“This is ridiculous,” a spokesperson for the concerned parents said.
The spokesperson, who refused to be named, said this result was a shock to many parents who had high hopes for their children to continue their form seven education this year.
“How did this happen?” he asked.
He said the Honiara City Council Education Authority also needed to investigate claims of fake transcripts issued by the school’s head tutor to the form six students.
“Several of our children found that when they took their transcripts to the University of South Pacific Solomon Islands Campus to register, the staff there told them that all their transcripts are fake,” the spokesperson said.
He said the school’s head tutor need to be investigated and terminated immediately.
“Our children are victims of such act.
“I think other parents who want to send their children to this school must rethink before registering your children at Panatina Community High School.
“I am not tarnishing the school image but I don’t want your child to be the next victim of such evil attitude that continues to sprout within the school system,” he said.
Attempts to get comments from Panatina Community High School were futile on Monday.
