TWO new ministers were sworn in at the Government House in a low profile ceremony yesterday.
They were Member of Parliament (MP) for Baegu/Asifola David Tome and MP for Lau/Baelelea Walter Folatalu.
Mr Tome was sworn in as the new Minister for Provincial Government replacing Mr Folotalu who was sworn in as the new Communication and Aviation Minister.
Mr Folatalu replaced former MP for East AreÕAre Andrew Hanaria who lost his seat following a court ruling last year December which ruled him ineligible to carry on with his official duties.
Prime Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo when congratulating his two ministers yesterday encouraged them to look after their respective ministries with care.
Other ministers and backbenchers also attended the ceremony including Speaker of Parliament Sir Allan Kemakeza.
Meanwhile, sources close to The Solomon Star revealed the Government has remained intact despite claims the Opposition faction are still holding secret meetings to try and lure Government members to join them.
