The parade was attended by more than hundred RSIPF officers
including delegates from the Pacific Islands Police Conference.
Police Commissioner John Lansley speaking at the occasion warmly
welcomed the Pacific Islands Chief of Police at the ceremony.
“Today I’m very impressed with the way our preparation has gone so
far that indeed we are capable to host such an important meeting here in the

Following the speeches made, Participating Police Force Commissioner
Tony Negus was also impressed with the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force since
he came to the Solomon Islands some years back.
“I’m impressed to be part of this gathering as I have witnessed a
lot of improvements and also the RSIPF capability to host such an important
conference and the progress it has made so far,” PPF Commander Tony Negus said.
The parade was ended with a tea before the delegates returned to
their busy schedule.
The Police conference started today at the Mendana hotel.
