This was in relation to a provincial tournament which attracted a large gathering in the township.
The tournament started on Monday and is expected to end this weekend.
Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Albert Samani said police were impressed with the public so far.
“Since day one of the tournament, there were no disturbances and or disorders,” Mr Samani said.
He said the public behaviour has shown people’s respect for law.
“I called on the general public of Taro to maintain the good behaviour so that the tournament can be successfully completed.”
Meanwhile Taro Police is preparing to carry out their community policing awareness program ahead of the Christmas and New Year celebration.
The awareness aims to make sure the festive celebration is crime free.
