Western Province this year will celebrate her 29th second appointed day on December 7.
According to one of the organisers Jimmy Nonga, Sir Frank is confirmed to be the guest of honour for the event.
Mr Nonga said the Minister of Provincial Government is also expected to be part of the event.
He said the Western Provincial executive members are expected to be at Seghe before Friday for the event.
“People in and around the lagoon are arriving in numbers since Monday to witness and be part of the event.
Mr Nonga said this is the first time for such big event to be organised in the area and is encouraging.
“We see such event as important to bring rural people together and be part of the event.
“Such event will make them feel that they are part of the province and to know what is going on both at the provincial and government level.”
The government house yesterday confirmed the Governor General’s attendance in the ceremony.
Activities including games have already kicked off as part of the celebration.
