Commissioner of Police, John Lansley praised detectives from the Honiara Central Police for their prompt response which resulted in the arrests.
According to Mr Lansley, stolen items which included, house materials and properties have all been retrieved.
He said the men have been remanded in custody and are yet to be charged as investigations continue.
“I praise our RSIPF team for their prompt response not only in apprehending the six suspects but also for recovering the stolen properties,” he said.
He warned that people who plan on breaking the law and indulge in such illegal crimes will be dealt with accordingly during this festive season.
