Luesalemba was reportedly to have lost five staff houses and four classrooms.

“We want to do something though forth coming assistance in the future but as Temotuans we must be responsible,” the committee said.

Currently students were housed under tents as their classrooms that it’s not a conducive learning environment for them.

The statement said: “We are planning to host an Island night to raise funds as contribution to rebuild the Luesalemba school.”
