THE Government is preparing to table few more bills before the life of the house ends on 24th April 2010.

Some bills coming up are the Tobacco Control bill 2010, Extradition Bill 2010 and North New Georgia Timber Corporation (Amendment) Bill 2010 plus the political reform bills.

The North New Georgia Timber Corporation (Amendment) Bill 2010 was set down for second reading after the first reading yesterday.

The Tobacco Control bill 2010 will be set down for second reading next week followed by the other bills.

The Government had tabled about 20 bills last year with more than half of them passed on the floor of parliament.
