Police advisory
Over the weekend police also attended three traffic related incidents, one of which resulted in the apprehension of two alleged offenders.
Although there were only three traffic incidents, police nonetheless advice motorists and pedestrians to constantly take extra caution when driving or walking by the road.
With the current wet weather situation, the road surface will be slippery and visibility would be poor and will even decrease especially if it rains at night.
Drivers are advised to be always on the lookout for other road users and pedestrians.
The National Meteorological Office has recently issued cyclone warnings and has forecasted more rain and bad weather for the next few days.
Members of the public should take those advises seriously to prevent any possible loss of life and property.
People living near rivers and streams should continuously be on the lookout for flood sings or move away from areas that are likely to be flooded, on to a higher and safer location.
Police also advise those who intended to travel by boat to consider the bad weather warnings issued by the responsible authorities and reschedule or put off any planned trip to a better and safer time.
