A MAN accused of having sexual intercourse with two underage girls in Isabel Province last year will face the court again on April 26.
The man, who cannot be named to protect the identity of one of the girls who is related to him, is facing two counts of rape.
The matter was fixed for trial on May 13 this year.
However, the prosecution asked the court to set another trial date because the accused is facing two counts of rape and there will be separate files for each of the charge.
Principal Magistrate Stephen Wilson set July 1 for the offence that allegedly occurred in November last year and May 13 is still maintained for the alleged incident on September last year.
The accused was remanded to reappear next month.
Benham Ifuto’o from the Public Solicitor’s Office appeared on behalf of his colleague Steve Barlow.
