PAP vow to meet challenges 21st century

People’s Alliance Party (PAP) President Sir Allan Kemakeza said his party will meet the challenges of the 21st century.
Speaking yesterday at the second forum organised by Media Association of Solomon Islands (MASI) Sir Kemakeza said PAP’s priority once they get in power is committed to;
  • Reduce the oversized and ultra expensive national government,
  • Address key policy issues relating to youths and women development
  • Address the nation’s land problems
  • Increase national revenue in agriculture by increasing cocoa and copra production
  • Promote and encourage toursim development
  • Promote the free market policy and provide guarantees of security to investors
  • Re-design and restructure the  government bugget in order to best promote and achive dectralised serivce delivery and management at key provincial or regional centres
  • Commence the programme of progressive federalism under which more powers and resources are transferred to the rural population.
PAP was the longest political party in Solomon Islands it was formed 31 years ago the founders had a strong desire to build a united Solomon Islands and to bring about real development to the rural mass.

PAP therefore has taken stock to steer its members in a new direction, with new development philosophies, goals and objectives.
