CENTRAL Honiara’s newly elected MP Moffat Fugui received overwhelming praise from his supporters on Sunday.
After the announcement of his victory, supporters gathered at his home in Kola’a Ridge to congratulate him.
Mr Fugui thanked them for showing the confidence in him to lead the constituency in the next four years.
He assured voters that hto bring positive changes in Central Honiara Constituency.
“I have the heart for the people in Central Honiara and that is the very reason I kept contesting the seat,’’ Mr Fugui said.
“Even though I had this heart in the past I had no power to carry it out effectively,’’ he said.
All the supporters of Mr Fugui believed their chosen leader will bring some positive developments in the constituency.
Mr Fugui won the seat after contesting it on two previous occasions.
