Andrew Iro was charged with one count of inconsiderate driving and one count of being an unlicensed driver.
The incident occurred on August 21 this year.
Iro was driving a three-tonne G-plate vehicle on the outer lane when he saw a relative taking the inner lane.
He then drove next to his relative's vehicle and were busy having a conversation when they came to the round-about.
There, Iro turned the vehicle for the round-about that he collided with another vehicle.
Magistrate Esther Lelapitu gave him credit for being a first time offender and for his early guilty plea.
But she warned him that the road is not an area to tell stories especially when in a vehicle
