Marist Futsal kicks off their campaign for the JF International Cup-Futsal on a positive note defeating Just Futsal New South Wales 3-2 in their first friendly match at Goonellabah Sport and Aquatic Centre in Australia last night.
JF International Cup is a elite Futsal Competition with teams from overseas and all over Australia coming to compete for the grand prize.
Total of ten teams are expected to compete in the tournament set to kick off today.
Marist Futsal team has been slotted into to pool A alongside Carlton FC, Galaxy FC, Just Futsal NSW and Sunshine Coast Wave.
Teams drawn into the pool B are Belwyn FC, Fitaroy, Redlands, South Brisbane and Sunshine Coast United FC.
In the first match of the tournament which is set down for today Marist will take on Sunshine Coast Wave at 9am before taking Galaxy FC at 1pm.
On Saturday they will take on Just Futsal NWS at 11am and then takes Carlton FC at 5pm.
Marist Futsal team is optimistic to win all their matches to qualify for the final play off on Sunday.
