“Being host really brings back the fonder memories in Solomon Islands and we are glad to be their hosts.”

She said this opportunity of hosting the Paralympic team is yet another achievement my family did for the connection we have for Solomon Islands in the past.

Paralympic team vice president Fa’amoana expresses the team’s grateful thanks to the family and their time, effort in keeping them safe.

“Though we are far away from our home country, your hospitality has been greatly appreciated especially for making us feel at home.”

He said the team hopes that in any of similar games in the future, they will have the similar privilege to be hosted by the same family.

Team manageress Falai shared similar sentiments thanking the family for being their host and further expresses the continuous relationship as one fundamental connection that is important in the years to come.

She said: "It’s great having your family looking after during our stay there which was exceptional.

“More so it is even great to see your family here in the Solomon Islands and eventually meet up again.”
