The HFA is targeting 30 table for the cooperate dinner night which will be held at the Pacific Casino Hotel.
HFA president, William Lai said so far half of the total number of tables has been booked.
He said this shows a positive sign of support for football from business houses and individuals.
Lai added he hoped for the government to also show support towards this initiative.
This is the first of many more fundraising events to come with the aim of raising funds to help run and organise competitions and administrative work.
