Fans will have to head out to Rove sports grounds to check out all the action which starts tomorrow with the NAMSON TRAN TOUCH RUGBY competiton kicking-off their league for this year.
Organizers of the competition say tomorrow’s event will be the first of the knock-out phase in the men’s open grade.
The knock-outs will determine the pools for the first round of the competiton.
Namson Tran Touch Rugby organizers have given teams till the end of tomorrow before they close off the registration for this year’s competition.
Meanwhile, all throughout this the week, friendly matches took place at the Rove Sports ground.
The Rove Selection team has so far sent out a clear message that they are serious about touch rugby this season. They stamped their message this week when they beat the 2009 4th placed team, Real Naha 11 points to 1.
On Wednesday at the grounds, the Rove Selection again beat RAMSI team with a 9 – 2 score.
The Rove youths have shown commitment towards this season and are training hard to make sure they go all the way.
According to the organizers the competition will start with the confirmed registered teams from Rove who have 6 teams, Oscars 3 teams, Oceanic Short Wind, PDL Toll 6 Packs, Daltron Hackers, Ricoh Owls, Ramsi, GRM Bulldogs, Heights and Freestylers.
Teams that have confirmed but not registered with fees have been asked to contact the organizer as there are late fees that will apply.
Fixtures for next week will be ready after tomorrow’s knockout while the other grades will officially start next week on Wednesday with the Mixed Grade Competiton.

There will be a semifinal and final at the end of the knockout. Teams are asked to be on time or points defaulted.
