VIVA Rewa Soccer president Pranil Singh says the inclusion of former Kossa, Zome Mars striker and beach wonder boy James Naka along with midfielder George Lui would boost their chances of winning in their first match tomorrow.
Mr Singh said James Naka had been cleared to play while partner George Lui was awaiting his International Clearance which should have been finalised by yesterday.
He said the duo are both experienced players and will certainly boost their chances of securing a victory.
"We would like to improve on our performance from last season and this is one way we hope to do this.
"We have our local boys and having the two Solomon Islanders joining us would be a great boost as we also seek to boost the confidence of our younger players," Singh said.
He said his side is a new delta squad and the players are ready to give Rewa supporters the best on this first game against Suva.
He said do respect Suva being a very strong side also and they will be out to give a good game against them.
Viva Rewa takes on BIC Power Electric Suva in the opening of the FijiSun/Weet-Bix National Football League at the Vodafone Ratu Cakobau Park on Sunday.
Naka could be in Fiji until the end of the year playing with Rewa in the league and various competitions.
The game kicks off at the Ratu Cakobau Park at 3.30pm on Sunday.
