IF you are a soccer club thinking of earning some extra hard cash this Easter period you better start registering for the Koloale Easter soccer sevens next month.
The Easter period is in three weeks time and Koloale Football Club (FC) is planning to organise another seven-a-side soccer knock out for over three days this year.
The proposed date is on the 3rd April which is on Sunday through to Easter Monday 5th April.
A total of $18, 000.00 dollars cash prize is for grab. Four teams will walk away with cash prize money each.
The winner gets to smile away with a $10, 000.00 cash prize, first runner up - $5, 000, second runner up - $2, 000 and third runner up - $1, 000.00.
A member of the organising committee John Noni last night said the competition is expected to attract alot of teams in Honiara because of the huge cash prize.
However he said most teams are yet to register.
He is expecting most of the prominent clubs in Honiara to register before the closing date in two weeks time on 25th March.
Mr Noni appealed to most of the local clubs and any interested team to start preparing their teams and register now.
"Registration is now open and we are now accepting teams to start giving in their registration fees," he said.
A thousand dollar is the registration fee and the organisers are expected about 24 teams to register in order to slot them into four pools.
The four pools will have about six teams who will then battle it out in the competition.
Following the closing of the registration, draws will also proceed to determine the teams in each pools.
So to avoid a last minute rush, teams should now start to plan and register because its a first come first serve registration.
After the required number of 24 teams are received registration will automatically closed.
Koloale FC annually organise such an Easter soccer sevens each year.
