MOTHERS’ day beach soccer knock-out at the RBC Park Randi yesterday has turnout to be fun-filled competition played against each participating teams.
Twenty-four teams compromising of mothers participate in the 6 minute beach soccer knock-out at the park yesterday.
Mothers of the day have come out with brilliant skills on the pitch to invade the first prize which a trophy and $300 dollar cash.
In the match yesterday saw Bondie Beach and RBC Green displaying some incredible footworks in the pitch that left RBC Green with two points while Bondie Beach net three goals which is a stunning fixture for both teams.
Prizes were displayed during the matches including three major prizes; the first prize include a trophy with $300, second prize a trophy and $200, third prize is 1 bag rice, $100 cash and a soccer ball along with consolation prizes.
The mothers’ day beach soccer knock-out was organized by Wantok FM to give mothers a break to participate in out-door games.
Wantok FM endeavor to celebrate mothers’ day by organizing the sport to bring out mothers to show their unseen skills on the pitch.
Wantok FM says it is proud to organize the competition and hopes to organize a bigger one in the near future.
There were sounds and action of joy, fun and laughter inside the pitch and outside the pitch as mothers challenge their opponents to get the top prizes.
The fathers and their children too were there to support their mothers taking part in the competition.
