About 23 ministers have been sworn-in on Monday and yesterday.
The final swearing in of the ten ministers yesterday was conducted by the Governor General Sir Frank Kabui.
The first lot took their oath on Monday.
The swearing in comes as the parliament resumes its sitting this morning for its deliberation on the matters important to this nation more so the budget.
There had been some delay to make the appointments but it is important consultations were done and the final line up we see today is what PM Lilo has come up with.
No doubt many would be satisfied with the ministers that are been allocated to move things and provide services and developments for this nation.
Most of the ministers are not new to their portfolios and its good to have them back in office after their absence as a result of the change in leadership last week.
Having the ministers in office is important to allow the government under the new leadership to get down to business.
We cannot afford to lose more time in political wrangling.
It’s the services and development that people want.
And as the country nears the end of another year, its important the country continues to enjoy the services provided by the government.
Thus, the passing of the budget is very important to allow citizens are not affected with disruption of services.
As the ministers resume office they should be challenged to identify areas of importance in this country to enable this country to move forward.
We have learnt our lessons the hard way from past experience and we must not allow things to move backwards.
The current NCRA government has a good support from a number of provinces and its people because of their policies.
Thus, this government must continue to work hard prove itself to the people of this nation.
It’s a time we as newly sworn-in ministers should be serious to do business through our ministries for the benefit of this nation and its people.
