Power for the nation

E-mail Print
Dear Editor – It was interesting to listen to the SIEA power for the nation program on SIBC on Saturday. One thing I want to elaborate on is why SIEA officer always fail customers when customers request assistance.

I am one customer who had my connection cut because of unpaid bills from the previous tenant. A reconnection fee was paid but I waited for weeks for SIEA officers to reconnect but nothing happened.

I informed them and nothing happened. Should I reconnect it myself? I know it would be illegal but that kind of service is pathetic so to speak.

And at the end of the day, they come back and point a finger at you for illegal connection.

If you provide a professional service, it might help reduce unlawful activities.

Also you showed to customers that you mean business and desperately want things to go the way you were showing, but when a customer’s request is ignored, customers will think that you failed your part and start doing their own thing.

However I had that connection remedied later.

Please provide a better service in terms of responding to people’s concerns. Otherwise thanks for providing power to the nation and hope everyone cooperate to help SIEA to continue providing the needed service to people.
