A media expert?

E-mail Print
Dear Editor – I wish Robert Iroga really was an expert in media and public affairs.

If he was, the Prime Minister would not be in this great mess.

If Iroga knew anything about media and public affairs, he would shut up and listen carefully instead of self-proclaiming himself as expert.

If there is an expert, maybe it is Alfred Sasako who told us a few years ago that he has two diplomas from Harvard University plus regional and international experience.

In the final analysis however, what is an expert in media and public affairs?

Is the expert one who knows how to spin stories to satisfy or save his employer? Or is the expert the one who helps the media reveal the truth about – among other things - sordid behaviour of national leaders?

One thing that an expert in media and public affairs does not do is to become another story!
