DEAR EDITOR – It was amazing to learn that after a good hard day’s job by our active custom officers which ended in the apprehension of the said 7 FCL (Full container loaded) containers loaded with the not allowed stuff round logs, those big boys upstairs with the power to hire and relax with tied lips pretending all is well downstairs.
Hey, officers good on you for a well executed job. Don’t worry and don’t give up. A verbal warning to the culprits or law breakers will do.
May be next time will charge them. I’m sorry mate, next time will never come.
Mr Forgive (Minister) them for they know not what they do (the logger) why have mercy on millionaires who come to steal, kill and destroy our green forests.
What a sign of a run lose year for the nation, something is smelly somewhere. Can we look beyond the nose to find out what’s the double trouble?
To our genuine loggers, before you go away after you get what you want and leave our virgin green forests full naked please operate by your licence permits, abide by the rules and practices and live by the law.
No bending and no jump overs.
When you are in Rome, act like the Romans. Follow their rules and practices. SI no exception , no short cut. A short cut is always a wrong cut.
To our dedicated custom officers, your recent intervention had proven your true colour of what you can do for your country.
Now we have learned a good lesson.
Next time, stay by them; keep an eye on what goes into the containers. Make a tally and so on. No warim sun or rain, bat warim no one do the wrong thing.
In the meantime, well done custom officers, for a job professionally carried out. You top.
