First, I would like to sincerely thank our former Head of School Mrs Susanne Maezama for the great job rendered during her term.
Though we have encountered a lot of difficulties you always committed to attain to help us though it may difficult sometimes. You will always in our memory for all the good work you have done for us.
Although, we all miss our contribution as Head of school, we also grateful to have the new Head of school Ms Simi who resumed her official duty on 15th March 2010.
Ms Simi is one of the active lecturer teaching Education studies at the school of education and the coordinator of the Waikato University programme introduced at the school of education.
We students feel that this is the blessing for the school of Education because through observation and experience, we can feel how friendly and closeness she was.
Not only that but she lives up to what she preach to us about the quality of an effective teacher in which friendliness is among those qualities.
We can also trace that she always wear our shoes which means that whenever problem affecting us students we can see obviously her action that she tend to be the one mostly affected.
She always tries to find ways to help us. We whope that she will maintain the same qualities in spite of the most challenging responsibility she has now shoulder.
We understand that leadership role is not such an easy task and at time expectations won’t met but this doesn’t entail incapableness nor ignorance but rather its situation that becomes barrier for not attaining to certain expectation.
We hope that the new leadership would bring about change to the administration for the betterment of the students studying at the school of education Panatina Campus.
Finally, we would like to appeal to both the lecturers and the student of the school of Education to work cooperatively and harmoniously with the new leadership by having confidence and trust that changes for better is in their hands. Congratulation!
