As someone who is keen in reading and writing I really find it difficult to capture the substance of what is culture and of course challenges that citizens of Solomon Islands must continue to maintain their identity only when diverse cultures in Melanesia is solid and respected.
The cry of women to enter Parliament may be the same with the men too; who are still trying their very best to enter Parliament.
I believe voters are looking for candidates who can try and balance lifestyles and open their homes in love and reverence to simple people who cast their votes.
To bridge the gap between the graduates and grassroots must be taken with human – understanding because voters are watching the actions and behavior of each person.
In other words culture is not something that one can put it “ON” and “OFF”.
It is part of a whole person in words and actions that certain protocols could differentiate the “dos” and “don’ts” in human relationship context and concept in wisdom and knowledge to lead and rule.
Before I conclude may I also take this splendid chance in your paper to comment briefly on gender balance in decision making process?
Of course! There were political decisions that may not sound as family decisions but one have to think positively and negatively whether you like it or not.
Please correct me if I’m wrong that political decisions and family decisions are not the same when becoming a leader.
Who serves under the national supreme constitution of Solomon Islands from shore to shore?
Finally, those who understand politics enjoy their time in Parliament and put their nation first before themselves.
