The Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACOM) Diocesan Electoral Board will convene on the 11th of April to elect a new bishop for its Diocese of Vanuatu and New Caledonia.
The election will take place in Port Vila, Vanuatu.
The elections become necessary following the untimely passing on of the bishop of that diocese, Rt. Revd James Ligo in December last year.
The Church requested all members of the Church of Melanesia to uphold members of the electoral board in their prayers as they prepare for the election of the new bishop of the diocese.
