MALAITA Provincial Principal Education Officer has reassured Aligegeo Provincial Secondary School (APSS) that his Ministry is fully committed to execute plans to improve the school its infrastructure early next year.
This was highlighted during the school graduation ceremony on Friday.
Mr Fred Ramoli said, that the Ministry is fully committed to execute its plans effectively early next year.
“This was for the building of new staff houses, new school administration block, student’s dormitories, forms six (6) and seven (7) new science lab and new classrooms for the school.
“Our school is hoping to develop its infrastructure very soon.
“Currently procurement of materials and tendering of the projects are now underway.
“I urge us to get prepare to accommodate this development,” he said.
Meanwhile, he encouraged the graduating students, teachers, parents and the school committee.
“Today is a milestone in the era of education in Solomon islands and as far as the development of education is concern in Malaita schools, not only to witness this graduation celebration but to share and leave with you some words of encouragement and the food for thoughts to the graduating students, teachers, parents and the school committee.
“This year 2014 Aligegeo academic staff is having quite a good number of well qualified teachers compare to the previous years.”
