Dear Editor – It is becoming clearer to the general public that this representative government (DCCG) willfully chooses to remain paranoid amidst all the revelation of their controversial decisions made since they took over leadership on December 2014.
DCCG came into power and have raised a false hope as the only elected government assuming leadership to salvage this country.
With their so-called message for good change, the common people and the nation pledged their allegiance not knowing that a two headed monster has seized the government.
Now the realization came within 6 months; the Prime Minister and his Cabinet become paranoid and are losing all nerves to answer for its unpopular actions and decisions.
Following the media exposures, obviously the public has lost all confidence on this government.
The lamentation by the frustrated mass through all forms of media has nearly reached a point-of-no-return, and from the social front, this is very scary.
The disgruntlement expressed by the public implies a high social risk that is not too far from happening.
As such there has to be a circuit breaker to mitigate the risks from emerging at the expense of the people.
The negative outlook seems apparent yet the Prime Minister and the cabinet still assumes that those sentiments echoed by the Opposition and the public are political in nature rather than genuine concern, hence he chooses to remain silent although numerous calls for his government to be objective in their responses to issues of national concern.
In our short history, I think this nation has reached a cross-road which is not promising at all, given the socio-political trend by the DCC government.
As such, Prime Minister and his cabinet have to be cautious because it will be counter-productive should they remain silent and paranoid.
