A statement from Catholic Communication said during the service, 23 received the sacrament of baptism, 28 confirmation, and four the sacrament of matrimony.
The service was led by Catholic Archbishop Christopher Cardone who spoke about humility.
“Being a humble person, one must not treat his or her brother and sisterless important but see each one as Jesus Christ,” he said.
As he thanked parents for bringing up their families to receive these important sacraments of the church, he also encouraged them to always bring their children to church, to never stop praying, and to always have faith in Jesus Christ.
Those who were present to witness the ceremonies thanked the church for visiting their Lio Creek community and helping those who have now received the holy sacraments last weekend.
